will 08 wheels clear a bbk?
Does anyone know for sure if the new 2008 c6 polished or split spoke wheels will clear a big brake kit or even the zo6 brakes? Looking at the wheel on the car it appears to have atleast another inch of clearance over the 2005-2007 wheels. The polished wheel has more clearance than the split spoke but both have alot more clearance than the 05-07 5 spoke.

I can't figure out why Z51 owners think they have a BBK when they just have larger, drilled rotors. I am new to the Corvette, so please educate me if I am misinformed.

I don't think I have a BBK, but the original poster was commenting about the new polished wheels appearing to have more clearance than the 05-07 wheels. All I was giving him was the measurements off of my wheels so that he could make a comparison.

Can't say for sure, as I have not had one to fit.
StopTech makes one of the largest calipers in the market, they have a wheel fitment guide that you can download, print out, and then fit to your wheel.
Make sure the measurements come out the same as they are labeled on the sheet to verify.

I am to;d an 1/8" spacer is all that is needed to run wilwood"s 14" kit but if you look at the 08 wheels they do appear to have more room that 07 OEM wheels.
