Default Select Ride Control

Hey Guys...I just purchased a '05 Model loaded with options including the select ride control. When switching between the two modes, I notice little if any difference. Should there be a noticeable difference in the ride quality during normal driving or am I expecting too soft of a ride when in the "touring" mode? No, this is not my first Corvette, it just seems to ride very harsh all the time. Thanks in advance for your help.:

Check that the travel packers are removed from the shocks!

Other than that the drive is rougher than a shaved scotum.

mine is nicely "soft" in tour mode (comming from a Z51). i can tell the difference instantly on my 07 when i switch....even on fairly smooth roads. don't know if the electronics were different on the 05's but i think they might have been. ENJOY YOUR NEW RIDE!!!

I think you have a problem. My 05 in touring mode has a defendant floating feeling.

I can feel the difference and the ride in Tour is floaty. I put in the Z51 sway bars and the difference is incredible!! The car feels much more solid and the ride is still compliant. This is so worth the time and effort and the cost is less than $200. This to me is the perfect combination.....

Although I have a 2006, I think you will find that you will only feel the difference "at speed." If you are just cruisng around town, the difference is very small. However, on the highway, it is quite noticible.

Check that the ride control is connected to the switch, open the center console and just pry up the switch plate. Also check that the car came with ride control and someone didnt just put the switch in for show. Get a copy of your build sheet.

Check to see if ZO6 sway bars have been added. Made my ride a little stiffer when i added those...
