Hurricane air intake?
Is the best looking Intake system.
I personally have a Vararam.
Performance wise...well.
Your pic:
Hurricane (best look)
Vararam
Halltech w/scoop Vett-Air
Lingerf.
Bottom line they are all going to give you more HP, period. Maybe the Vararam will give you a lil more since the air its been force to the intake while driving.

PICTURE.As far as comparisons.Similar to VARARAM because it gets outside air in so it has to give you some gains.K+N is just a big filter that DOES NOT get outside air in unless you mod the shroud,in which case you're better off with one of the other two mentioned.
Just put in a hurricane this morning. I got the carbon fiber one. Kind of a pita to install, but well worth it. It looks great and definately made a big change in horsepower! I have been told it adds 25hp and I believe it.
I installed a hurricane aircleaner on my 2006 vette. The installation isa lesson in frustration. Not well designed and the holes on mine didnt even line up. The way it is designed, after about 30k miles when it is time to clean the filters, you would need to disasemble the front end again.
I decided to take a separate path and rivet clamps to the hurricane and airdam for the raidiator. That way I did not need to worry about he little screws now or when I cleaned the filters

I am feadup with them, clean with water and apply the oil and it's ready to be use! what a jok.
I just installed my Hurricane system 2 weeks ago. The installation was time consuming - about 2 hours, but I had no fit problems, and every thing lined up just fine. It will take a little bit of work I think when I have to take it apart to get to the filters to clean & oil them. But what a difference!!
