Love mine . getting the oil changed when it gets back , i can send pic. The only thing I am going to do is take them off and polich the muffler similar to B&B. I had Borla on my 94, too lound after about 2 hours. B&B on my c5 and now Corsa touring on my C6. Could be a little louder but not much. Mama 's happy with so remember "when mama's happy everybody's happy " no drone a little pop when slowing down, you can hardly hear it. I might do headers , not sure, had supercharger installed at Lingenfelder and they advised against spending money for headers for the small increase in HP , Love the car , perfect street machine, was 322 @the rw now 475. FUN, FUN, FUN. let me know if you want pics.
I had LG headers with corsa sports, at first it was kewl but it started to get to me, just to loud with a little drown at certain rpm. I removed the headers and put the corsa touring with the sports and I love it. Louder than stock, you can hear them under acceleration nicely and zero drone. They have a nice tone at idle as well. For me they are perfect. I picked up the touring kit off ebay brand new from a chevy dealer for $89.00 shipped.
I installed Corsa touring and I thought it was too tame.
I took the touring resonators off, reinstalled the stock H-Pipe with the Corsa mufflers. Sounded very nice, not too loud, not abnoxious, no drone.
Now, I have Kooks headers with the same Corsa mufflers, and at idle it sounds nice, not too loud, very little drone. When I nail it, it screams, but during idle and highway cruising, it sounds pleasant.
If I did it over, I would not waste the money on the 'touring'. I would just buy the Corsa Sports, which means just the mufflers.
you should check out the corsa web site and review their comparative sound metric chart for touring vs. sport vs. extreme. I found it very useful as well as listening to to the products at the 2007 corvette festival in St. Charles, IL. I ultimately seleced "sport" which I am very happy with. Also added a K&N air intake kit at the same time. they work well together. bought them through MidAmerica with installation from my local garage.
