I have an '05 out of warrenty. I think only one of the horns has been working for some time now. This weekend I was driving my son in his homecoming parade and honking the horn a bunch. Worked for a bit then just stopped. Nothing. Nadda. Kaput!
Any tips on how to troubleshoot this problem? Where are the horn and relay located? Any common problems with the horn I should know about?

Never heard of that issue! I assume you checked the fuses? If by tonight no one has responded I'll look in my service manual.
Check the fuse first, run test lamp to see if have power to horn (hold steering wheel horn button area down), is wire or wires connected, is horn grounded (I don't how this horn is grounded), run jumper wire or wires (hot and ground) to horn to see if it works. Problem could be in steering wheel. Horns do go out and they are not cheap from past experiences. Don't buy one from the dealer, go to auto parts store.
I have just over 5k miles on my 05 so you know I don't use the horn often. I have noticed I have to push pretty hard to get it the horn to blow. And only on the lower spokes. If I push on the top of the horn pad, no horn whatsoever. Any other 05s have this problem?
