I have already added some mods to my 07 C6 and I need a clutch. I thought I should get a clutch that could hold enough power to work when/if I get a supercharger. I read here that (the dual disks set up rattle so) most people go with the Textralia Z Grip. Fidanza says it has solved that problem with its Twin Disc Clutch Kit and it has a more stock like feel. I was hoping someone here had some experience that could help me with my decision. Thanks.
I bought Fidanzas shifter from a forum vendor. It buzzed real bad. I emailed Fidanza, tried their tech support # many times. The vendor did too......No response, maybe they are busy developing clutches.
The forum vendor was great, he took the shifter back

I have not tried The other, but we have had great success with the Textrailia clutches. We have dozens in stock in both OZ700 and Exo skel twins, if you are interested we can ship today.
I had the Texterala clutch with the Z grip street disc. I hated It!!
It chattered every time is started from a dead stop. Worked fine once you were going. But for everyday driving in traffic, It was horrible. The clutch went in with my new 427 motor and it lasted 5,000 miles before I got rid of it, and installed a Z06 balanced clutch. Happy days were here again. Since This car will never see a track, even with 525rwhp the stock clutch should last a long life. It's a daily driver. You'ed think I would have learned, since I had 3 aftermarket clutches, Texterala, Mcloud, and the LUK with the fidanza AL flywheel in my LS type cars corvettes and camaros. Didn't like any of them. Of the three the Luk who makes the GM clutch would have been fine if I would have had an Iron flywheel instead of the Al flywheel. I don't like Al flywheels on the street. My opinion.

I was told that a 2007 ZO6 clutch wouldn't hold if I supercharged it.
My Tex is great love it to death. 500 rwhp and it doesn't chatter at all. I have the OZ700 Z. Got it from ECS.
I have the same clutch and 600 plus rwtq. There was some chatter when new but most of that was gone by time they finished dyno/road tuning my upgrades. Very happy with street performance.

I'm curious-would a steel billet flywheel have made a difference w/ the clutch & chatter? They work better for street applications
