I have a bottle of Octane booster here. It says it's made from jet fuel and has a picture of an explosion on the bottle. It says it treats 25 gallons, but it also says to dump the whole bottle into a full tank, whatever that volume may be (ambiguous). Is it safe to add this to my tank or am I going to damage anything?
It won't hurt anything, but it is a waste of $$$$
It may boost octane but by less than 1 unit.
The only octane booster that seems to make a difference is TORCO. Seems to be the choice of the west coast cars. You can only get 91 octane in California..5 point increase with one 32 oz bottle.

Torco is our choice out in CA. My tests showed a 5.5 octane increase when mixing 10 gallons of 91 with one quart of Torco.
