Default I think I crashed my nav system

Please Help!!! I downloaded the nav update posted on the forum for 05's and I burned the Iso fie to disc as I was instructed. When I ran the disc it said wrong disc type, then went to the updating screen then I i tried to eject the disc but it would not let me and is now stuck on the update screen. What do I do? Did I fry the nav unit?

Default Update

I have tried everything to fix the proble0. Disconnecting the fuse, disconnecting the battery, letting the car sit for an hour with the battery unhooked. Now when I turn it on it tries to load the disc, then goes to a backlight blank screen. Is there some type of external master reset or did I fry my deck?

Most computer DVD an CD drives have a tiny hole somewhere in the front for which to stick a paperclip (or equiv) into and mechanically force (gently) the drive to spit out the disc if it wont come out the usual way.

I don't have my car here at work to see, but the nav unit might have the same holes. If it does, I would tilt the screen then pull the fuse to the nav before attempting the paper clip idea. Maybe if you could get the disc out it would return to normal.

Just a thought.
