Dry Sump and EOC
I guess I am going to offically say you can't do this with our internal Engine Oil Coolers (EOC) because we had two individual blow them up this year from over pressurizing the coolers.
Oh, I'm sure we will lose a few orders and the other guys will say it's fine with there radiators and I'm ok with that.
Internal EOC work pretty good, but air type are much better for high performance systems. Internal oil coolers are designed with low flow in mind and cannot handle the high output of a dry sump system. I've said this before and I will say it again, the factory Z51 hose assembly is the best eoc hose package on the market. Yes it is difficult to install, but the internal bypass valve prevents any unnecessary backpressure when you go to high rpms. So,
