I know Dave had actually used a 17x9" Trans Am WS6 wheel on their C6 Z51 early on but it still took some very minor massaging to fit.
You're also getting those new brakes (I saw them on the car yesterday when I stopped by the shop ) so you have to make sure that any 17" you choose clears those too (they should).
CCW does now have a 17" rim to fit the C6s but the M&H drag radials that they sell the package with are HUGE (28.51" tall).
Next time your there tell them to hurry up I call Dave every few days to check on progress. I think he is looking into CCW wheels and non radial slicks for my car?? I want a few FAST runs before I break it

If I had the 28.51" tall drag radials, does anyone know what the effect on gear ratio would be. I'm running 4.10's....the taller tire might not hurt?? it migh actually help me get through 1st and second gear without burning the tires off.

Oh, good point! I forgot about your 4.10s, normally you'd have to pull those out and go with a 3.73 or even back to 3.42s after installing the blower but if you go with that CCW set up (check out Jerry Muniz's car if ya get a chance, he has them) you could just leave the rear alone and maybe even still hook (though you will be making A LOT of power ) at least a little bit.
