You might want to consider replacing the accordion as it has a tendencyto hunch up . LGM has replacements for $29.00. Then
you will need a longer "RED PIECE" 3"x 3 3/4. EXTREME PSI MAKES THEM

I looked for the part on LGM's website, but could not find it. Could you post a link?

I bet Vararam will send you one free, they are here on the forum a lot. Mine is quite a bit longer than that. While you're looking check the foam tape sealing the upper and lower together. I think they will send you some more of that too. Mine is a mess but I haven't bothered replacing it, I've got a K&N filter in the upper that seals nicer than the green filter that came with it.

You need to make sure that the coupler and mating surfaces are free of oil and debris before installing it. Use a good solvent to clean it up. With an oil on there, it will keep sliding off.

Thats weird...My shipping was free and it was $7 for handling. Here are some pics of how mine turned out. I know my camera sucks, but you get the idea.

Call me at 866-507-2648 and I should be able to help you - unfortunately I can't help with the shipping charges - UPS gets $10 to send even the smallest package - but let us help you with the coupling and the gaskets!!
Thanks
Steve

I had my Vararam unit installed in Carlisle and the rep. told me it did not come with the smooth couplers. He said all LS2 had to use the bellows (acordian) stock piece back to the throttleplate. He said that the Z06's got the smooth couplers only. Can you help?

C6 units come with a coupler to the MAF. The kit for the Z06 and the LS3 08 come with the billet air meter adaptor the essentially replaces the accordian!

small update.

scored the silicon coupler at a local performance shop that does turbo work.

$10

i had a hard time justifying the shipping charges people were demanding for a part this small.

is the plastic cover that goes over the radiator necessary (the part right under the intake)?
