I went to Advanced and got a couple baselines on the C6. Robert and crew were great to work with.
I have an A6 with the 2.73 and NPP. Mods are a K&N CAI(Includes reflectix heat guard and propped shroud) and a 160T.
Baselines were made back to back and with the hood closed a few minutes after I arrived. 396whp and then 398whp/392tq! It was at 11.7::1 across all rpms. Explains the 119.5mph traps I guess.
this is unbelievable as it's almost 70 rwhp more than my 06a6 stk and almost 40rwhp more than I got with K&N CAI, headers and tune! What is this at the crank??People say the 08's can't be underrated so how do we explain such a huge difference in dyno numbers?

Because drivetrain losses are not a fixed "across the board" percentage, but more likely a fixed, or near fixed, number.
My Z06 and your manual C6 do not necessarily both lose the same percentage of power in the driveline.
I don't necessarily lose 15% of my 505. If I had 605 would I lose 15% of that too???? How about 705 or 805......905 still 15% no matter what?????
No, I think not.
This thought about manuals losing 15% and autos 20% in the driveline, across the board, no matter what, is :

They say the LS3 is a heavy breather and responds to mods like headers, CAI much better than the LS2
11.84 @ 121.4mph w/1.95 60'ft on runflats....with LG Headers, Vararam, tune & ported throttle body
Still waiting on Robert at Advanced Dyno(Vendor on this site) to send me the graphs, but like I said 11.7 A/F and power started to fall off around 6250rpms.
Why are we talking about LS2s in this thread?

Ignore the haters and don't even respond to the dumb comments.
Q: Have you changed out any of the lubricants from stock, motor oil, trans, or rear?
I just ordered 2 Q of the Amsoil severe duty 75W90 synthetic rear end oil w/ 4oz of the additive to ward off the rear end clunk. Figure it might help w/ power as well. Thoughts or experience?
