Hi:
I have driven my car a number of thimes and notice the clutch chattering during parking lot manuvers and when backing out of my garage. Anyone else have this , or is it just me? I noticed this as we were moving the car out of the Museum too.
I have also noticed that when I fill my car with gas that I have to watch the handle like a hawk as it will not shut off if the flow is not fast enough. The first time the gas overflowed down the side of the car and across the ground. Another time it shut off with the gas right at the top of the filler. Is this normal or what? This could be dangerous , it can cause a big fire and burn my car ! ! !
HHHHEEEELLLLPPPP !!!!!!!!!

Do NOT try to top off the gas tank. Fill it up until the pump shuts off, then hang up the nozzle. Don't try to get that last quarter gallon in the tank, or it will overflow everytime. It's just a quirk of the vette.
do not overfill (completely fill) a fuel tank, this will also damage the fuel stations pump. As liquid fuel goes in the vapor gas is vacumed out, when a tank is overfilled the pump actually sucks the liquid back in instead of the vapor thus damaging the pump. If your fill up auto stops at say $45.32, then stop right there, don't force it up to $46.00
