Default Blowing It

i have a 2005 C6 base model with k&n intake and corsa cat-back exhaust. i want to put a blower on it but not sure which one to get.
what do ya'll have on yours, how much hp and torque is it putting out,
and how much boost. centrifigul or root?
also do i have to get a new hood?
all opinions are very welcomed. and pics would be great too.

THANKS IN ADVANCE

It depends on what you want out of a blower.

Do you want good top end power?
Is this for track or street use?
What are your power goals?
How stealthy do you want your blower to be?

Thats where you start...from there you can move to the different types.

We're running a Vortech unit on a completely stock LS2 at 8lbs of boost on a very conservative tune and on a dyno that reads pretty low and the results are in my sig.

cool, I just did the same thing I went with a Callaway install of the maggie , doc, etc check out Callaway on line you get 560hp and I think 540 TQ. good luck
The maggie requires a new hood, Paxton does not I like the C16 hood.

Centrifugals (Procharger, Vortech, Paxton) don't require a new hood while the Magnacharger does.

We have a Vortech SQ supercharger (centrifugal) and it is whisper quiet at idle.

With the hood closed it is inaudible to all but those who know what to listen for. It's hard to believe mashing the pedal in this will warp your vision, but it does.

Good luck making a choice...you really can't go wrong

I went with a Maggie 122 with a Comp cam and long tube 1 7/8 headers. Gobs of low end power and still pulls strong all the way to red line. 585rwhp with 7.5 lbs of boost. Nothing looks as cool as a Maggie under the hood.
