08 owners do it!
The Royal Purple mod. I drained my tranny and put in royal purple, shifting was much better cold.

what exactly was the product you used? Dex III? Any additives?
Just got my Amsoil with additive in for the rear and was searching for the exact product recommended for the tranny.
4 qt for the complete change?

This is not for an A4 or A6 auto..Royal Purple Sycromax is for manual transmissions.

Some 08 owners have been reporting stiff/notchy shifting when the temps are in the 40's, or below.
