Yep, almost wrecked last night. Decided to take my car out for a quick spin and try the nitrous again. Lately my bottle pressure had been very low so the hits were very soft. I had my bottle full this time, and had the bottle heater on and got the pressure to a good 1000 psi. So I went to this stretch of road that goes out to the island, pretty lonley sometimes at night, and decided that was a good place for a quick blast. I was cruising about 45 when I downshifted into 3rd and hit the spray. At first the hit felt like it was coming on gradually, then suddenly I guess all the air in the line got out and I got pure nitrous, because I felt a HUUGE power surge and the car just went sideways in an INSTANT. And I dont mean it got squirrely or loose, I'm talking about actually SIDEWAYS at about 70 mph or so. Pointed the car directly at the concrete center divider. I seriously thought I was going to eat **** but I let off the gas and tried my best to correct it. I think what really saved my azz was the computer in competitive driving mode, but I dont know. Scariest thing I've ever felt in my car so far, I dont even know how or why that happened. It's only a 100 shot so I can't see why it hit so freakin hard.
Gotta watch the dope man...its easy to lose control. Its unlike a supercharger or turbo. All the power comes at once so be prepared next time.
This actually happened to me over the weekend but I am spraying a 125 shot. Even though i have new tires, they just wouldnt stick to the pavement. It was a 40 roll when I hit it and the car went nuts.
Yeah, gotta be carefuel. I almost lost it in the grassy median a few weeks back while testing a 175shot. I forgot and left the window switch to come on at 3000 rpms(usually only use 4000-4200 with bigger shots) and the car kicked out sideways on a 70 punch instantly.
The post has significant tech value especially in the safety area for those who dont know the reality of the TQ N2O can develope. He did a major service to the guy with 400+rwhp who thinks the car can take a 125 shot on runflats. The responses are safety suggestions that should be taken seriously for newbies to nitrous. It isnt a war story thread.

Definite safety implications. N2O is loads of fun, but not to be taken lightly.
