I couldn't find it but there was a post recently (last 30 days) asking this question. You might want to do a search if you haven't done that already. It might be in "scan and tune" or "general". There was, as you might expect, very different opinions.

Thanks; I did try a search first, but it came up with so many unrelated posts no matter what keywords I used.

Check into EFILive. I think the Cow man uses it. I have it for my car and I think it is great. They are on the verge of Black box tuning (beta in test now) that will eliminate the need for a laptop while scanning. I don't do Beta testing trials, hell I barely can spell cat without screwing it up!
