decided to go to irwindale raceway and try out my 1lt base a6. it ran a 1.91 60ft 7.92@92.06. does anybody know what that would be in the 1/4 mile. thanks
That is a 12.2 or 12.3 pass. Its not dead on but take your 1/8 mile pass and mulitply it by 1.55 or 1.56 can't remember. Anyways its moving man. Is the car stock?
I just checked again and according to the Wallace Racing conversion chart (a widely used/widely respected source) it would work out to only a 12.43 but that sounds a little slow to me.

easy 12.2 car-impressive for stock.
my bolt on a6(vararam,tune,headers) in vegas ran a best of:
1.92-60ft
8.12@89mph-1/8th
12.49@113.5-1/4mi
not a zo6. it's a 08 c6 a6 with 2.56 gear. stock filter and tires. i heated the tires and it hooked. i think i could have stalled it higher. came of at idle.
Great pass. I do believe you'd be looking at 12.2's at least. The reason. My best pass ,with only a vararam in an otherwise stock 06 A6, was
1.93 60', 8.128 1/8" mile ,12.48 @ 114.4 mph. Your difference is at least .25 secs I would say. How come with all that land out there that there's no 1/4" mile track?
not many 1/4 tracks in southern california. next month fontana opens 1/4. i cant wait
Great time. I just moved out of CA last year (from there) and Irwindale is the best 1/8 track in the area....has the best traction and is the quickest. Of course I never got to run there. Fontana, not so much but at least when it opens, it will be winter. Forget summer for good times, the DA shoots above 5000' with temps 100+ degrees.
