Too Hot
i think my car is running to hot. what do you guys think?
last night i drove the vette. about 3 hours outside temp. 43 and the car still ran 203. why? too hot?

Maybe a few degrees but very close to being normal. It might just be the speed you were running and how high you were maintaining high rpm's. In that kind of weather and cruising on the freeway (no stop and go) mine would be close to 196.

The first obvious question would be what thermostat is in the car?? Is it stock which is 196 degrees? If so, 203 makes perfect sense. If it is a 160* stat, then the question would be, 'did you have the fans reprogrammed?' If not, that temp in town would also make sense. We need a bit more info. Your mods listed in your profile didn's say much. In any case, your car is not overheating.

Quite normal for stock stat.I remember when i first got my car and it went between 205 and 214 . I thaught somethibg was wrong with the car till i started reading CF threads
