I'm also looking for a FAST solution for my '07 Z51. Vengeance Racing, a forum vendor, offers a modified FAST 90 that does not require the fire-wall modification. IMO the modified FAST is the way to go.

On the other hand, SpinMonster, on this forum, has made some offers re this modification. If you're not geographical convenient to him, however, I'm not how that would work out.

Go with Vengeance. They are the bomb and know their stuff. I have a FAST intake and it is awesome.

See the following link from Spinmonster;http://forums.corvetteforum.com/show....php?t=1799958

long post that covers it all, including various pictures and comments on Spinmonters massive forearms. Spinmonster has his act together concerning the FAST install.

I just started doing my homework on how to install a FAST in my 07. Looking forward to getting one installed in the near future.

I've done 17 to date I think. All of the guys that got them are happy with them because it is a legitamtely good mod. One thing about Vengeance is that they have one awesome paint job that they offer. They use automotive paint and it has the shine of a detailed car.

No fuiel rail kit is needed...just oversized washers to hold the rail down.
You need LS1 o-rings for the injectors since the FAST is an LS1 replacement.

To date the best peak HP I have seen from the ported FAST is 27rwhp at peak by PatrickG on LS1tech.com.

Typical midband gains are greater.

My help is free if you need it. Just pay it forward.....
