Robert - I think we can all appreciate your understanding of the work Tommy has put into this. But I doubt if one post caused Tommy to decide to drop the Z06 section. I think we should appreciate what he has done, and respect his decision as I'm sure it has become far more work than he bargained for.
Just my opinion.
I can't disagree at all, as yes it's a lot of work and his dedication has to get kudos from all.
Robert
Tommy D as far as I am concerned you are the man, you put the effert in to keep it going and up dated. If you prefer the Z06 times to be kept on their site then so be it. You were only doing it as a convienience to them and if it is no longer convienent for you hopefully someone there will step up. I think you have done a great job!!!!!
Finally made my goal of 11 sec w/o cracking a valve cover
I set a goal to have an 11 second machine without cracking a valve cover and last night I met my goal.
DA was 2074. Here are the splits:
R/T=.157
60=1.700
330=5.003
1/8=7.701
mph=91.41
1000=10.004 (knew I had my 11 sec slip when I saw that on the board)
1/4=11.930
MPH=117.83
Backed it up with a 11.966 @ 117.58 and a 12.095 @ 117.64.
Tommy, you can remove the 2 other Joe_G and 1 other JoeG run from the bolt on list, they are all me (although they do chronicle my progression from bone stock to 11 seconds).

What cai, catback, and headers do you have and if tuned, by who???
WOW!
Howard
My car is untuned. I have a B&B Bullet Catback, Kooks 1 7/8" headers with Converters and a Vararam CAI.
My times were acheived at Maryland International Raceway during a track rental on 11/24/06. I dont know what the DA was that day but I am sure one of you more internet savy guys will look it up. The outside temp was about 68. All passes were made from 1pm to 5pm with only 9 cars present. Track temp was very cold and car tipped the scales at 3520 with me in it. (Very light compared to my 04 Cobra weighing 370 pounds more.) My engine temp was anywhere from 210-217 with tire pressure unchanged at 34psi on aftermarket Z06 wheels by OE Concepts. These wheels weigh ALOT more than the stockers but I didnt weigh them seperately before mounting them up.
Feel free to PM me anytime with questions regarding my car. I am always trying little things out to see what works and what doesnt. Just installed a electric water pump and Zex nitrous kit. Next on my list is to be a guinea pig for a stall converter and go hunting for warmer weather now that all the tracks in MD are closed until March.
Your car slowed down with headers and a tune? (Looking at your sig)
A6 is where its at. My car WILL NOT spin the tires if I simply floor it from a dead stop. She just goes. Also DO NOT USE THE PADDLES. The car is slower if you shift it. Put it in S, floor it and whala!
Designer Imagines A Corvette That Looks More Like a Corvette Than the Corvette
