CONGRATS LS1LT1

I'll say it again, you can't beat the A6s at the track.

Great air yesterday combined with an experienced driver who keeps the car PERFECTLY STRAIGHT going down the track adds up to the FASTEST SHOWROOM STOCK C6.

Lots of people discount how much a good driver helps, even with an automatic.
A lot of people jerk the wheel a tiny bit when the car shifts and that costs time and mph, LS1LT1 knows what he is doing.

Thank you
LS1LT1, way to go! Great run. Now two things will happen. People will quit saying that the A4 with 3.15 gears is faster. Heck, those of us that can multiply two numbers know the A6 is equivalent to an A4 with 3.92 gears! Also, now people will know that the A6 is quicker than an M6!

Thanks,
Glenn

Tommy -

Happy Holidays and an extra special thanks to you for all the hard work for our benefit

We need to see some more Magnacharged A6 times

Just kidding, my wife would kill me, but I am thinking about it.

Default 3 New Bests Tonight...finally figured out the DR

Well, decided to go to HRP tonight. Ill start with Conditions

56 Deg. 50 % humidity 30.24 Barometer
By my calculator, that comes out to -435 Density altitude....Not perfect, but very nice

Got there around 515 pm, to find out they open at 2pm now and close at 8, so decided I better make a bunch of runs. Car was hot lapped all night

Raceweight 3450 with me in it. Car is a 3LT 6sp Z51, only mods are Drag radials, MTI tune, and Magnaflow mufflers (weld in, not cat back)

Here are results (i think in order)

R/T 60' 330' 1/8 MPH 1000 1/4 MPH
.350 1.840 5.236 8.012 90.31 10.371 12.374 113.01
.181 1.749 5.065 7.801 91.06 10.162 12.176 112.10 hit rev 3rd
.115 1.727 5.065 7.815 91.02 10.166 12.147 113.75 new best
.094 1.862 5.210 7.955 90.62 10.302 12.284 113.37
.109 1.841 5.191 7.919 91.57 10.257 12.225 114.44
.096 1.913 5.255 7.980 91.24 10.311 12.284 113.81
.212 1.801 5.139 7.864 91.76 10.197 12.163 114.71
.118 1.744 5.065 7.776 91.93 10.112 12.083 114.35
.116 1.722 5.021 7.738 91.73 10.072 12.041 114.01
.536 1.934 5.278 8.000 91.80 10.332 12.298 114.66 (spun)
1.08 1.943 5.235 7.947 92.13 10.269 12.222 115.51 (spun)

So, please move me up on the list for the 12.041@114.01!!!! with 1.722 60'!!!

Damn.....you just missed 11s. Not once but twice.

Seems unfair to put you in with the group running headers.
