High Speed Convertible
Is anyone having problems with their tops at higher speeds? My '05 vert. has made some scary noises at 90 plus. The first time the noise was a very loud shuddering. Since then I have had everything from nothing, to consistent wind noise, to the top is going to fly off the car! The latch recently broke & is being replaced under warrenty, while I'm at it I am having the dealer look at the issue. Anyone out there had similar experience & what was the fix? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The car did this for as long as I can remember. So not sure about the "as top ages" thing. I really didn't feel comfortable going into a dealer, I didnt purchase the vehicle, whining about the top at 100mph. Now that something broke(the latch), & they also agreed to replace the headliner because of wear holes from the frame, I asked them to address the noise. Still concerned. I recall reading they "improved the top" for '06 specifically to reduce ballooning effect. Anyone out there had these problems & what did you do?
