Help Car Wont Start
Ok guys i have a 2005 vette and when i get in the car it detects my fob but wont start its a 6 speed i leave it in reverse and everything like your suppost to. all the lights come on but everytime i hit the start button it just seems like it resets and wont start. Anybody know what i should do? its under warranty but i was trying to figure it out

Besides pushing the clutch in....maybe try putting it in neutral.
I've had a few instances were my 2005 MN6 didn't fire-up as usual, however, I think I just put it in neutral, re-started and it fired right up. It's only happend a few times in about 3 years.
Hopefully it's just a clitch. If it's something that continues definitely have the dealership check it out. Good luck.

Sounds like the Clutch Starter Interlock switch (the switch that senses whether the clutch pedal is pressed down) is either out of adjustment or has gone bad. If that switch isn't operating, the car thinks you dont have the clutch pressed, and wont engage the starter.
