Default Tire Pressure

What should the tire pressure be when the tires are warm. I was on a road trip this past weekend. I checked and the tires were at 37 PSI; is this to high. I had been running a few hours at 80 MPH. I have GY runflats; with about 3000 miles on them. The outdoor temp's was around 70F.

That sounds about right. I always set my tires to 32 psi. cold, and find that they will go to the level you indicate when highway driving in the summer. Not a problem.

Looks about normal to me. After you slow down for a while I would expect to see those numbers go down by 2-3 lbs.

That is starting out at 30 COLD

It's not unusual to see 5-6 psi increase in tire pressure at those speeds and for several hours (plus the ambient temperature in the 70s).

Just follow the instructions on the door jam for cold pressure. Doesn't matter what happens after they heat. 3 or 4 degrees increase not unusual on a hot day and if your doing spirited driving.
