The don't look like long tube, but if they are cheap, I guess you can always try them.

I live in Wellingon FL BTW. I live off 441 in Victoria Grove. What color is your C6? Mine is Machine Silver with Comp Grey wheels (2008).

They are actually 1 3/4" our website has them listed incorrectly, could be why they are not mentioned too much amoungst the Corvette community - but JBA does have headers for 97-07 Vette appplications. And we are currently working on proper fitment on the LS7 and LS3 applications (basically verifying clearence around chassis and other components)

Good to know we have a JBA delaer out there working in the Corvette community.

The web page says they are 50 state legal. Does this mean they a CARB approved for the C6?

unfortunately long tube headers - such as these are not 50 state compliant - here is why

The long tube headers relocate the factory cats which by federal law you cannot do - so these specifically are a offroad / race use only style header - doesnt mean people are not going to use them on their street cars but it does mean you wont pass a visual and will probably throw a CEL on certian applications

Unfortunately that 50 state legal verbage that is at the bottom is the same wording we have on every header part number we produce -

Trust me the more I found that needs to be fixed on our website the more I am banging my head into the desk on these .....I am working to get stuff updated as quick as I can and of course when you guys have questions you can call in direct or shoot me a PM or post up

I am sure that they are great headers, but I have B&B's in transit to me. I like the way they bolt up to the exhaust on the car.

Based upon the current wording of the law, all headers are not legal because you have moved the CATS.

not all headers. there are shorty headers that do not move the cats. but some say they do little re more power.

There are no shorty headers for the C6. Callaway quit making them and even they were not CARB approved.

interesting and noted. didn't know they were removed from market. last I saw the Callaways were still being sold; don't know about the CARB on them.

I've used JBA Headers when I was on the dark side with Ford. Great headers; what about the mid-pipe. How much will that boost the price up and what do you offer?

FEAR-

Your PM box is full. PM my your info and maybe Friday night we can do a Wellington/RPB Vette get together. I guess we could start another thread for ie. I was thinking at the Publix on 441 Friday night car show, or maybe Moroso.

Tim
