I change my oil every 3 months or 3000 miles regardless of the mobil one . I drive her maybe every w/e if that , so I am way under 3000 miles in 3 months. My point is with a 50K or better dollar car the $85.00 dollars is not a big deal for the oil change . enjoy, but make sure you spend the few extra bucks on keeping her on the road . Remember pay now or later !

There are certain things that should be done every other oil change.
Inspect suspension and steering components. See footnote (b).
Inspect engine cooling system. See footnote (c).
Inspect wiper blades. See footnote (d).
Inspect restraint system components. See footnote (e).
Lubricate body components. See footnote (f).
Replace passenger compartment air filter. See footnote (j).

There are also things that should be done every 25K miles.

Look at your 2007 owner's manual, pages 435 to 438.

You should get in the habit of looking for trouble ( ), but you really don't need to do anything special at this point. Enjoy the car.

As many of you do my oil goes every 3000 miles, no matter what. Not because the oil is bad, but because the filter isn't very large and it goes way before the oil does. Anyway oil is cheap, and it makes me feel better. Also you didn't mention your rear end service. I do it every 10,000 miles. 2 quarts of 75-90 mobil 1 rear end oil and the GM additive and your done. I've now got a forged 427 built from an LS3 block and a 4.100 crank. This was $14,000 turn key install. Weigh that against a $60.00 oil change, and it's a no brainer. I know $60 seems high but I have to use 15-50 mobil 1 in my motor and it's about $51 a case. Again so what! It's the price you pay.
