Default Going 440ci

Well I finally decided to sell the blower and do a Stroker LS7 440ci. At the beginning I won't have all the supporting parts to support 630RWHP but hopefully someday. I liked the blower and power but I always wanted to do a fully forged motor.

Hope it all works out.

Thanks,

Mike

The best part is after I sell the blower, wheels, and LS2, it's $0 out of pocket for the parts.

Probably gooing to have 525rwtq at 3k rpms and make me jealous.
A friend of mine did a 440 build and used a 232/236 117LSa cam and still did 540rwhp with a 700rpm idle.

Good luck with the build.

Thanks guys,

The cam is 257/266, not sure about the rest but I'm going to run 12.5-13.1 compression when I get new heads eventually and a sheet metal intake. LG PROS of course. The stock exhaust is going to really slow me down. I may go with some 3" Borla Tourings.

6.100 or 6.125 rods??
Pistons?

They are megafun and you do not need a real big cam.

Congrats!
I'm personally a much bigger fan of forced induction, but I can always respect big power
Say...
What wheel/tire combo do you plan to use to put all that power down?

It's going to be a Stroked 4.1" throw Callies Crank and Callies Rods with Weisco flat top pistons and valve reliefs. At first it will probably only make 540RWHP because you have to address the entire motor. The heads flow pretty good, but my intake will be a MAJOR restriction.

Can't wait.

I like forced induction too, but I want to have the same front to rear weight ratio as a C6/C6Z for maximum handling.

What are the specs on the "little brother" like?

What's the best intake manifold?

Little brother is same as in my sig except 4" crank.

Probably the LS7 but I use ported L92s which means I have LS3 intake.
The new Aussie intakes are coming which should help. Sheet metals will trade hp for tq. I like tq.

You can't go wrong with more cubes. I haven't been convinced that the sheet metal intakes are better than the fast. There isn't a lot of info that I can find. They do look incredible though so I'll look forward to seeing your results. Why are you going so high in compression? Is this a track only car?

Nice, that's some good info. The compression is just to add power and make the most of my setup.

I checked out your sig, very nice setup. Any Dyno Graphs I can check out?

Will you have to run race fuel?
Thanks for the compliment. I'm having a great time with it. Here's a link to the dyno.

at 13 to 1 compression and i would you better have racing fuel unless you want massive detonation. if you want to make real power i would be using the all pro 12 degree heads. these things flow 400 cfm at 700 valve lift with 280 cc intake ports this is incredible. and straight from the people at all pro there is not an after market intake that is not a massive restriction to these heads. they say sheet metal is the only way to go. and if your doing all of that already you need these heads. jesel has a propriatary shaft system on the shelf for them. you may as well design a 4 stage belt drive dry sump while you are at it. you are on the right track with the callies crank as they are a fine peice but you said callies rods ?? are you refering to compstar rods ? because if you are that would be a major weak point since they are not designed for massive hp. i would look into dyers, carillo or crower for top of the line rods. if you go with all pro heads there is no reason you should be making 750 hp with out huge compression and should be able to run on pump gas. i have no idea why you would want 13 to 1 compression unless all you do is race
