I have a manual trans supercharged C6 that produces about 600hp/600 ft. lbs. torque. The car has Z-51 suspension with stock rear wheels/tires (285/35-19). I need to replace the tires with some with a lot more traction. I wanted drag radials but can't find any in the 19" size. I don't want to change the stock wheels. I did find Hoosier R6 tires in 295/30ZR-19. The tread width of the stock tires is 9.2" and the Hoosiers' width is 10.4". Has anyone tried these tires and know if there are any clearances issues due to the larger size?
I'm also thinking of changing the front tires to Hoosiers with a width increase from 7.7" to 9.3". Does anyone know if there are clearance issues here?
