Ceramic Pads Life and Performance

What kind of miles can one expect to get out of ceramic pads vs SM pads with midly aggressive daily driving?

Also has anyone ever tested performance of ceramic vs SM?

As a rule ceramic pads will give you 3/4 the life vs semi-metallic. Biggest gain is less dust and less squeak.

I can't speak about life, the biggest gain i found, is less dust and less squeak. I also noticed that they cost less than Z51 pads.

A lot less squeal and less dust and what there is of it, it's a lighter color, not the black type dust on OEM pads.
