Oh I totally agree with that as well. I believe that the LS3 is afflicted with an even more severe case of the 'TM disease' than the LS2 has (which itself has it bad enough), hence why the LS3 cars tend not to sixty foot or ET as well as their strong dyno numbers dictate that they should. BUT, they DO trap extemely high proving that they do in fact make more power than a comparable LS2 and it's strong top end pull is why I feel that at least one (likely more then one) bone stock LS3 will go quicker than a 12.21 (but maybe not the 11.9 that everyone was calling for earlier on) in due time.

I had the A4 in my 98 w/3.15 and hated it until I got the shift points tuned and installed a Yank3000 TC. The A6 is much better than a stock A4 IMO but still needs tuning to bring it to life.

I had though that we would see an 11.9x from a showroom stock LS3 by early spring...... now I am not so sure. I agree with Marc that the
LS3s do trap much higher, indicating more horsepower.

However, the TM is as intrusive as the earlier models. Most of us get reasonably good times with 24 - 26 pounds of pressure in our rear tires. In reality we are runing on the heated edges of our tires. If these cars had better tires we would see faster times and maybe some more broken parts
