Default Just got back from L.G.'s

Got the G5X3 and RPS clutch done-all I can say is WOW!

Car sounds wicked and the clutch is bullet-proof. Pretty stiff pedal but feels a hell of a lot better that that mush that came from the factory. Numbers came out to 427hp/404tq. Not too shabby for a cam headder car.

Lou, your guys were a class act all the way and i'm sure i'll be back.

Thanks

Ron

Hi JLINDSEY2,

Congrat on the new power.

Which type is the RPS, twin or single, do you have more details?

Is it the last RPS LSX Organic/Carbon Street Twin???

Christian

It's the one that cost $1100.00, they already had it in the car by the time I got back to the shop from the hotel-that's how good these guys are. Pedal feels stiff, but it's EXACTLY how I like a clutch pedal to feel. They also replaced my clutch slave cylinder, which was the problem in the first place with the clutch.

The idle-now that's the BEST part, it sounds like a pro-stock car with mufflers. Like a corvette should sound.

Just wish I had done this a year ago.

I love the idle of the G5x3 too! I've got mine idling at 750 and it sounds mean. Just figured out how to post a video, here it is.

Upgraded clutch sounds like a good mod when it needs replacing.

Mine's up around 950 at idle, still rocks the car tho-and yes, the clutch upgrade is GOOD!

I've got mine idling all day at 750 with a sharp tune. I wonder if that's low enough for an automatic?

Mine's at 850. (Or was, waiting for ecm with new tune from LG. new idle???) I need to put in neutral at a stop light, too much pullin and bumpin.. hopefully new tune will smooth it out some.

I'm a St. Louis native and my wife's from St. Charles (always hounding me to move back). How's the emissions situation with the X3? I was thinking I'd have to go to the X1E if I ever moved back...
