Default Need advice on differential options

I will be considering a differential gear change this year and have many questions about the different options that you can get when selecting a differential. I have a 2006 Z51 MV6 and want to get to 500 rwhp via natural aspiration, so I want to make sure my differential can take the abuse. I know for sure, that I will be getting the DTE brace. Besides the usual debate on this forum of 3.90 vs 4.10 gears which has been beaten to death, here are my questions:

What are micro polished gears, and do I need them?

Do I need hardened gears?

Should I get hardened axles?

I don't live that far away from DT Engineering or RPM Transmissions, so if you guys can chime in here, it would be greatly appreciated!!

PS: Car is 90% street drivin and 10% drag strip drivin.

never hurts to over build but it will $. DTE should be the ones to rec what you will need.

I had Chuck CoW ship me one, installed on a Sunday, shipped my old one back on Monday. It was pretty easy to do, much more so than the C5. He had a low core charge, and was available by phone during the install. The 4.10's are great, I too am a 10% track driver. I would go with the single hardened output shaft, the other options are a bit overkill for most use.
