Have any of you installed a Line Lock on your Vette? I was reading in the service manual that they have a split diagonal braking system. This means, according to the hydraulic piping diagram, that tube from rear portion of the master cylinder engages left front, right rear brakes and the tube from the front of the master cylinder engages right front , left rear, anybody know how Cartek's system works?

I thought the same thing as you but it doesn't work that way somehow. The split happens in the anti lock pump system best I can tell. For sure line line locks work, I've had one on my C5 and C6 for years, cut into the rear line from the master to the anti lock pump IIRC. I jacked up the car and tested it and just the fronts lock with the line lock on and the rear line's the only one cut for sure.
Thank's for your reply. Do you have one of Cartek's systems or is it a Hurst Line Lock and, from what I'm reading, you installed it yourself?
It's a Hurst but I had my shop HPS Florida do the install, I don't have the flaring tool to make the flares on the lines you need to make. IIRC it was a couple of hours for the install and they did a great job, tucked it under the master on the frame rail out of sight, nice clean install. I checked this morning and it's the rear line for sure on my 05.
I'd get a kit if I was going to do it myself, I don't like flaring brake lines if I can avoid it.
Finally took the plunge and bought a line lock from Cartek, well made and a complete kit. Here are photos of the installation. The only thing I changed was the way of activating the solenoid. My Vette has the Universal Home Remote system, so I purchased a 12VDC remote relay, comes with 2 FOBs. I then programmed my visor remote to turn the line lock on and off.
This was easy!

Had to bend a wrench to get in here, then bleed the brakes.

The toughest part was installing the tube on the ABS device, bought a 13mm tubing wrench then bent to fit, power steering reservoir made it a tight fit, if you look at pic#2 the nut just barely visible (not the one to the left or right of the "N" embossed on the ABS block) under the power steering hose is the one replaced, it's directly under the reservoir, what a pain.
I guess I'm old fashioned, I got the Cartek system, & used the "momentary" push button switch.. I mounted the switch (button) on the console right next to the seat belt warning light that little U shaped part right in-front of the console cover...
I like the momentary button because all you have to do is let go of it during the burn out.. and its right next to the shifter (not that I use it) I'm (A4)
I mounted my switch on the waterfall panel as well. Easy to use right there. Plus no tapping into the fuse box. You can use an add a fuse easily though its up to you.

That's right where mine is.
I figured that little part would be cheap to replace if I ever wanted to sell the car and take out the switch.
And it's very handy right there...and I do use the shifter (though not when I do a burnout)!
