I have to say the driving experience for those who have not driven a LS3 is quite impressive. The "grunt" down low is awesome. If you look at the torque curve on the graph you can see it "turn on" very much like how the LS7 has a power band at 3800. This burst can be felt when driving. This is also why with headers and a cam these motors peak the up torque like a turbo motor.
Like I had stated; headers/CAI/Tune and then we are going to try a couple of the "popular" camshafts.
Very exciting engine!

Congrats on the new car Howard!!
Sorry about the weather in upstate NY, I don't miss it!
I was on the race track at Willow springs all day yesterday, and had a blast!!
GM has been underrating cars for years! For example, remember the Grand Nationals???
Anyway, I doubt the LS3 is cutting or will not cut into the Z06 sales. In case you were not aware, the Z06 is also very underrated.
Thanks,
Carlos
What's up Carlos!
I think if we posted a stock ZO6 dyno graph over a LS3......it would resolve a lot of questions. The LS3 makes great power over the LS2 but is far short of running with the torque monster.
