I understand about the window indexing but was wondering if there's anyway to put the window all the way up with the door opened. I know somebody would probably close it with it all the way up,,just curious if it can be done.

Why in the world would you even want to try that? Great chance to "forget" and slam the door .. damage? I think so. If there is some gain that you see, share with us.

It can be done because my window tinter did it to tint the windows . He had to raise them to get the tint completely on so that there would not be a line across the bottom with no tint on it. He pushed something on the door jam.VNVETT

real easy. On the latch receiver assembly in the door jamb just flip up the little barb that flips up when the door is latched and the window will go up. Just make sure you flip it back down (push the button on the door to open the door) before you go to close the door or you will get a nerve rattling 'thump'

I wish I knew the technical terms for it. Just look at the receiver and get you a screwdriver and you will be able to figure it out really easily. Hope this helps

This is a great idea...thanks for bringing it up! Very useful for me as I like to clean the windows with the door open...got to get that last 1" at the bottom...
