C6 Z06 Rear End Problem
I was considering selling my 02 Z06 and going getting an 08. However I know two people that have 07 Z06's and both are sitting at the dealership with rear ends that basically came apart. In one case causing the car to end up on the lawn and causing major body damage.
Both cars have under 1000 miles on them. I get the impression that GM is aware of this issue based to the letters that my friends have received, but won't really discuss it.
Any impute would be greatly appreciated.

Unless you're running some big HP #'s and/or forget to get off the gas in case of wheel hop, you probably won't frag your rear end.
