Diablo Sport Predator.. Do these things really work ?
YES and YES, this is a great mod! i have an '07 mn6 w/ cai and exhaust and am really pleased with the results, I used the performance tune (93 octane required) and the best way to describe the effect on the car is that it really wakes up the 400hp, much better throttle response, much better acceleration especially at highway speeds, i also picked up a couple mpg. I was skeptical at first but this thing really works as advertised.
A great feature of the predator is that you can easily go back to stock and you can further modify the tune either with a professional tuner that uses the predator or DIY by data logging.

I also have it, model #U7194. At first, I was very disappointed because the instruction booklet that comes with it doesn't even have the U7194 part number listed. Then, the instructions to remove a number of fuses and hookup were generalized for all vehicles, not specific to our Vette's, made it confusing. Finally, once you have it hooked up, the instruction booklet does not give you any idea of how to go about downloading, uploading, making changes to the tune, what the different menus are, how to get from here to there, etc., etc. However, once you download their software from their website to use on your laptop with the device along with the scantilly instructions displayed on the actual device itself, you will get the hang of it and you'll be glad you got it. Best thing to do once you get it is go to the DiabloSport forum where there are several members that will give you detailed instructions of what to do and what not to do; they are very helpful. I think DiabloSport makes a good electronics tuning tool, but they need to fire the 9-year old they are using to create the instruction booklet; as far as their technical writing skills...it's nonexistant.
