Default Quick CTEK Question

I just ordered a CTEK 3300 battery tender and went to their web page for the instructions. Could not get in. Short question: Can I just clamp the positive and negatives with the allegators and plug the thing in? Also, I have a 2006. Is there a way to turn off the hood light? Thanks.

Yes, you can just plug it in and then connect it with the alligator clips. The manual says to plug it in and then turn it on after connecting it to your battery. To turn off the hood light you have do disconnect the harness. It's located along the right side of the radiator. It shouldn't be too hard to find. I think it's a 2 wire connector. Mine was shipped from the factory with it disconnected.
