Default 08 Z on LS2?

I know the earlier year C6 Z exhaust system will fit on an 05 C6, but are there any changes that would make the 08's a fit/finish problem??

I need to upgrade the 05 since the wife won't allow me to get a new Z till the boys are out of college in a few years

I have an 07 Z06 cat-back on my 08 C6. Works just fine if you have a 3" X-pipe to hook it too.

I just upgraded my 05 C6 widebody's exhaust to add a Z exhaust manifold and long tube X midpipes. I am also adding the 3" Z Corsa exhausts to the system. If you opt to keep the stock c6 (2 1/2"_ mufflers, you will run into trouble. The Z's long tube mid pipes ends aren't flared outwards enough toward the rear wheels to mate up with the stock mufflers. It can be done, but not without alot of bending and welding.

I chose to keep it looking good instead of a butcher job.

BTW, I got about 20 HP more in doing this mod.

Thanks. Chucky7 - are your parts from an 08?

Any replies about 08 manifolds (in particular) and pipes and mufflers fitting correctly on the 05 LS2???

There's no difference in an 07-08 Z06. Only thing that changed were paint colors I believe. No more LeMans Blue.
