Default LS3 Dyno numbers

Hey im new here i always owned a Fbody but i finally pulled the trigger on a 08 c6. I finally got a chance to get i tuned the other day(non sponser so i dont know if its ok to say the shops name), anyways the car has a set of ARH headers, catless x pipe and stock NPP. The car made 405/402 on a mustang dyno!! i cant believe how much power these cars can make with simple mods, i'll try and post up the dyno shete but im bad with these sort of things lol

I came from a 1998 TA and bought an 08 Vette. Man, the Vettes are light years ahead. The LS3 is a motor with potential

Nice dyno numbers.

I too have owned a couple of F-bodies (and Mustangs) and still have my beloved LS1 Z28 to compliment the awesome C6.

I know you didnt mean it to come out that way but I would think that a 08 C6 is light years ahead of a 98 F bod...

Awesome car!

Me too...still have my F-Body.

I can't seem to part with it...it's a luv/hate thing I guess.

These LS3 Corvettes are really something.

Yup. They are beasts. My 02 laid down 350hp with headers, x-pipe, cat back, and intake. My 08 just laid down 398hp with cat back and intake and a tune.

He probably missed the mustang. I think that's fairly standard for a mustang dyno.

Put an LG Motorsports cam in that thing and you will be very surprised. I am at 507 RWHP with cats and stock NPP.

Nice Really nice considering my buddies 08' Z51 made 381 to the wheels on a dynojet. So what would that be on a mustang dyno?... Like 350 something? Either way, great numbers! Go for the dynojet next time and you should be at 430+ I would amagine

Thanks man, ya they say rule of thumb is a 10% loss for a mustang dyno to a dyno jet so i guess that would equal around 440rw on a dyno jet give or take, i couldnt be happier with the result my heads and cam camaro didnt make that much lol. I see your from long island nice car ive prob. seen you at captree!
