what black paint was used? the texture seems to match stock fairly well?
I know it looks almost identical to the stock manifold. I have to call my tuner tomorrow and get the exact paint info for you, Ill also post a pic side by side the stock intake.

Here are the pics of the manifold along side oem . The one has a little glare from the flash.
I'd like to make a suggestion and modification to the placing of the brake hose when doing the 'spinmonster' mod.
Bond an extra piece of plastic to the lower portion of the intake, this gives the fitting more 'meat' to bite into, also, use a 90* fitting and place it at the rear of the lower monifold. There is ample room and it fits the brake hose around the OP sending unit like stock. It will place the fitting almost in the stock location.

Im glad you highlited the possibility of the rear fitting having clearance
problems with the oil sender. I know mine is about 15 degrees more
towards the oil sender than spins original design. Probably a real clearance problem. Its an easy fix mounting it on the other side and
putting a pipe plug where it originally was. Thanks much.

Here is the pic of the final rear fitting for brakeline hose. The way I originally mounted it would go right smack into toe oil sender. I moved it to the other side. Should have no clearance problems.
What's with buying an intake and needing to modify it?
Well you make a good point. That being said it could concievably cost
$1,300 to get the FAST, get it ported & painted, Do the necessary mods to accommodate the C6 like the firewall, MAP relocation & Fuel
rail. Then get it tuned. Why didnt comp cams just make a pure bolt on
Manifold for the LS2. They let it to us to sort out and many have ruined their manifolds trying to get them to mount and work. Now they
are comming out with one for the LS3 in the springtime. I wont know if its all worth it till I see my dyno numbers and SOTP performance. I commend those who have tried to mahe it work and were able to get
a good performance gain.
