A4 w 3.90's oughta pull hard. I got a 3000 stall w 3.15's and took away the dead area after shift. Low speed/cruising won't be the same.

with the G5X-3 cam i made 441/404 at LG Motorsports. I don't make as much now, TQ conv makes it feel faster(and is on launch etc) but overall i've lost top end and pk #'s.

I don't care how good he is 400+rwhp/tq from a geared A4 LS2 is not happening with just headers, intake, and mufflers. I have no doubt your car runs strong and is fast but you are not making 400+rwhp with those mods, sorry.

thats fine and all but that is what it said. it was done on a dynojet. so i guess there is always a bit diff #'s from dyno to dyno.

There's not a 50rwhp/tq difference from dyno to dyno though. Perhaps the numbers weren't corrected?

Either way that wasn't the point of your thread and I apologize for taking it briefly of topic.

I'm not sure as to what stall you should go with. You might want to speak with dennis50nj. He has done some remarkable things with his A4 LS2. He can probably suggest a proper stall for your intended goals. Good luck.

Yes, what cam grind, what gear ratio, what tires, spray, no spray. What are you using the car for....street? strip? road course? Every TC should be designed for your specific application. Call a shop that specializes in that use to get some good advice. I'm strong on drag applications, but not an expert on road course. There are several shops on here that campaign road course cars that would be the ones to ask on that. Different shops have different specialties even though we all "do it all", some just have that special area of performance where someone there excels like in medicine (brain surgeon doesn't do the best knee replacement, but all are good doctors).
