I'm wanting to paint my calipers gloss black and polish the lettering on them but I need a good way to jack the car up. Do I still need to get those jacking pucks or is there a place under the car that I can slip a low profile jack under and lift it from there?

Recently there was a couple of long posts on this subject. You might try a search. There are 4 points on the car that are on the frame, two just behind the front wheels and two just in front of the rear wheels. Many folks here, including me, have purchased pads designed to fit in the holes provided there. This is primarily for lifting on a 4 point lift in order to not damage the rocker panels. There are points under the car near the suspenson that are designed for use of a floor jack, but a lift bar such as one sold by Northern Tools is recommended. This is just a quick overview, others will chime in I'm sure with better info.
Don't let everyone scare you into thinking it's some secret and needs special devices...you dont. Slide a jack under the rear in the middle, check position...jack it up. Slide a jack under the :knuckle: of the front suspension and jack that up too.
I tried searching but I couldn't figure out the right words to type in that didn't bring back 10,000 posts of crap.
I know jacking these cars up can't be rocket science. I just wanna make sure I ain't gonna bust nothing. I can slip a 2x4 or something on top of the jack to provide extra support or something.
Its not that big of a deal. Two jacks for the front (each side). Look under the car to see the lift location, there is a cut out on the glass where the jack is to be located. Jack her up.
I un latch the hood, top, hatch and doors before jacking with floor jacks. Flex considerations.
