Depends on what you do with it...I'm a hair under 500 RWHP with my built, naturally aspirated Lingengelter 403 motor. I like running road courses instead of drag racing. I run the snot out of it but I don't really load-up and drop it right off the line...pretty close some times but not an all out drag race launch.
My stock clutch works fine.
Tires will make a huge difference as well. Tire spin will help save your car...especially your differential. Put on DR's and really get some bite and you greatly increase the odds of breaking something.
For what I do my stock clutch has held up well. If I was a drag racer I'm not so sure it would.
