Default Vortex Rammer install question

I've purchased a used Vortex Rammer CAI off eBay, but have a couple of quick questions regarding some observations I've made prior to installing it.

1. The filter does not seem to fit 'square' in the air box (ie. if you offer the filter up to the air box, the base of the filter will not sit squarely against the back wall of the box where the cut-out for it is). Is this correct?

2. The C5 Vortex Rammers seem to come with an additional plastic 'scoop' (this is in addition, and separate to, the air box). Mine does not have this, but I also do not see any pics of this separate 'scoop' on the BPP site. Is this right?

Cheers,
Ian.

There is a little play in mine between the filter outlet and the box when I just pushed the filter through the opening. When you put the filter outlet through the box,and slide the Power Duct on the filter outlet and tighten,do you have a clean and square connection on the engine side of the box? Once everything is installed and tightened, there is no play at all in mine.

Mine does not fit square either, and I don't think it can or needs to.

For the C6, you should have the air box, the filter, the air bridge, two smooth couplers and some hose clamps. See my thread here for my install http://forums.corvetteforum.com/show....php?t=1963296 . Visit the Breathless Performance site for installation instructions. http://www.breathlessperformance.com/ . Also, go to this page for a 5 minute video on the installation. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oAEwzfGiLIs . Hope this helps.
