Default Stupid Questions....

So I am sitting here contemplating my C6's future. I've never had a performance car before so I dont really know the mechanics of Performance parts that go into the car. So here are my questions:

1)I am planning on adding a supercharger sometime in the future. Will adding it void the need for headers or a Vararam? I dont want to buy the Vararam and have it sitting in my garage after installing a supercharger.

2) If I get the LG Pro Long Tube Headers, can I still use the NPP functionality of my stock exhaust?

3) What are metal matrix cats? and do I need them?

Thanks!

1) Vararam, don't get it if you plan on S/C. Big yes to headers which you don't exactly need but if your doing it, do it RIGHT. Go with 1 7/8 diameter headers. I would probably recommend KOOKS

2) Nothing can change the fact of which catback system you use so go with whatever you want. NPP is pretty cool but it does require a vacuum system. I'm not too familar with it but I believe member Pipedreams could help you with that.

3) No. Metal Matrix cats are just "high flow" cats. You don't need it and I wouldn't really recommend them unless you don't want that slight boat smell but I don't run cats and it doesn't bother me and it isn't overpowering and won't make you clothes stink or anything unless you stand by your exhaust for a while. But that is the same with any car.
