Installed the replacement MGW shifter shaft ?
If you have installed the replacement lower shaft for your MGW shifter, what are your impressions relative to the previous shaft ? Thanks in advance....... [ MGW is to be commended on being heads up on their "after the sale" customer service. ].......

First off, I want to say that its great for them to just send out a new free shifter shaft like that, I've never seen a vendor do that before. Excellent service.
I installed mine last night, and I don't notice any difference in feel, or sound, and as far as I'm concerned thats good. The paper that came with it said the new shaft has a higher temperature plastic ball at the end of it so it won't melt under high heat, so I installed it for that, but it also says it makes side to side movement for daily driving, and in my test drive last night I couldn't notice any difference, which is fine with me.
