Center console matching
I am installing my AVIC D3 nav unit and don't like how the kit is a different color and texture then rest of the center pieces. I am having my center console painted this weekend and was wondering....
Is it possible to remove the face of the HVAC controls? I would like have the painter do the kit, hvac and ash tray all the same color.

I am curious too....I love the look of some of the CF and painted consoles except for the fact that there is this big "blah" grey colored rectangle dead in the center (nav/hvac) I have also been thinking about painting the frame for the nav screen as well as the hvac faceplate......surely we arent the only ones.
