I have a new 2007 C6 A6 convt. and I would like to know what I can do as far as a tune or add ons (ie.air flow etc.) and not void the warrentee.
Also what exactly is all done with a tune and how many miles should be on the car?
Regards,
Rich

A tune could very well void your powertrain warranty.
The car was built to run under the stock calibration. If that is altered and something breaks as a result, then you could be on the hook for it if it is determined that the car is running a non stock calibration.
Thanks,
Does the same go for the Vararam air cleaner void it as well?

If you have a problem subsequent to any modification from stock, you could be in for a hassle if the modification is believed to have been the cause of the problem.
Take the Vararam or any other CAI. Lets say that you install it and a few thousand miles later, your engine dies.

There's been a lot of discussion of this topic on the forum. Basically ANY mod you do to your car COULD void your warranty........... ..........dont let that stop you......
